A rebuilt alternator was installed on my 2007 Civic about 2 years ago by a repair garage. Cost me about $500 for the job . It started to drop out when it got hot this summer. Bought this TRQ alternator from 1AAuto and installed myself for alot less :) Made it easy by releasing the belt from the pulley and wire tying it to the motor mount (stayed on all the other pulleys). The only part that was a problem was the cable support bracket for the compressor cable connector. The flat for alignment was not cast or machined the right distance from the attachment point. I ended up bending the bracket so it would fit to the mounting surface. So far, so good after a few weeks on the vehicle. I liked that it was a new alternator and has a warranty in case of early failure. Earlier in the year I had replaced the rear hubs with TRQ parts and they are working perfect! I would recommend the TRQ parts from 1AAuto!
