Hello, I just installed these tow mirrors on a 2015 Ram. Install was easy the question I have is the passenger side is at a different angle then the drivers side. It sits closure to the truck. Is this normal?

Can the small mirror, tow portion of mirror, be moved manually. I attempted to do so but it seemed pretty stiff and I did not want to risk breaking it?

The outer mirror is not meant to be moved and movement will cause for it to break.

The only reason I did not give these mirrors 5 stars is because Ram/Dodge uses a support bracket with trucks outfitted with the OEM equivalent of these mirrors. If the factory uses it, there is probably a good reason. I went ahead and bought the support bracket (not required) from ebay for an additional $40 to go with these mirrors. Aside from that, excellent quality, the mirrors fold and adjust just like OEM- very glad I made the upgrade! A buddy and I installed them in probably 30-40 minutes.

I was doubted for a long time to change my regular mirrors to Tow mirrors. After changing I am lucky I did this. Mirrors looks stable, no vibration. In the expanded state it is a little tricky to adjust but I used to it after I understand how to do that. I like them.

Only option that my new truck didn't come with that I wanted was tow mirrors. After speaking with an advisor on the phone, they recommended these mirrors. They told me about a week to get them but they came within three days. Took about an hour to install both and they work great. Only thing they don't do is auto dim but I do not mind.

Company call me prior to shipping to checked on the legibility of my order, I live in Canada but got the mirrors shipped in the US which raised a flag, again very good. Ordered these mirrors and they took about a week and a half to get here (in Canada). They came packaged safely. Installed them in about 10 minutes per door and everything lines up and fits great! I took the gasket type foam off the stock Dodge ones and put them on the aftermarket ones as well. I actually have a 2017 Ram 1500 Outdoorsman and was a little unsure about the fit being the same and working with the options. I read on the forums that they would work and they do work fine. You just have to make sure the options of the mirrors have the same options the truck has. These are good quality mirrors; probably the same as the Mopar ones but for half the price. Overall great product and will recommend to anyone looking for tow mirrors.

Quality product, exact fitment, and everything works. I ordered the OEM reinforcement brackets and rivnuts for these mirrors just to be sure. I have a 2017 RAM2500 Diesel, and there is no vibration with these. I have tried cheaper ones on an older truck and they shook. So for me - definitely worth it. I looked at getting the OEM Mopar, but couldn't justify $700 for factory mirrors. Installation took an hour, door panel removal is a breeze, swapping mirrors a breeze, fitting the reinforcement brackets bit more of a challenge with the rivnuts. Not sure if they are needed, but these mirrors are quite a bit bigger and heavier than the std, non trailer mirrors.

These mirrors were truly plug and play. I researched all the options I needed to get an exact match and every function works exactly how it was described. They functioned straight out of the box. They were packaged extremely well compared to a friends Ford ,mirrors that were purchased on a different site and the box was crushed when it arrived. I did buy some T shaped support brackets that come factory with the mopar tow mirrors. They do not come with directions but are very simple to install. There are a couple good videos on youtube of installation's that are very helpful.

Installed these mirrors on my 2016 ram 1500 with power adjustment, heat, power fold, puddle light, turn signal and temp gauge. Everything works as it should, mirrors fold evenly and at the same time, heated glass works, better than factory, spot mirrors are tight and do not vibrate at speed. Power glass works perfect, blinker and puddle lamp also work flawlessly, temp gauge is accurate. I used the optional support from mopar because these mirrors have an extra motor so they can fold, making them very heavy. With installing the extra support the entire install took about 1 hour. They shipped fast and were extremely well backed, I would definitely buy from them again

Ordered these for a 2017 Ram 2500 to upgrade from standard mirrors, to tow mirrors. After purchase, I realized I ordered the wrong pair and needed the pair with the memory function (which also tilts down on reverse). The 1A Auto rep helped me with the return and shipped the correct mirrors to me right away. They even supplied the shipping return label. After receiving the new mirrors I installed them in less than an hour and everything functioned perfectly. A coworker has the same truck as me, but with factory installed tow mirrors and these mirrors are virtually identical in every way. I would highly recommend these mirrors and 1A Auto. As a side note, if your truck was not equip with OEM tow mirrors from the factory, I would recommend ordering the extra support bracket and hardware from Mopar.

Excellent upgrade from OEM Mirrors. I have a 2016 Ram 1500 and Tow a 30 foot travel trailer. These mirrors are plug and play and are one of the easiest conversions Ive done. They are power mirrors, power fold, heated, turn signal and mud light. I highly recommend these mirrors and have more visibility whether towing or not. Do not hesitate, I have nothing negative to say. Even the price for the pair was excellent at under $400.

Love these mirrors. Upgraded my 2016 Ram 2500 Tradesman with these and they have been great. I have used them in both the regular and tow positions. I really like that they can be easily folded in with the touch of a button. Of course I had to buy a couple additional items and get the feature programmed into the trucks computer, but well worth it. The quality is excellent.

The mirrors are great. It is by far the cheapest option I could go with for a set of towing mirrors. You unplug the old ones and just plug in the new ones. It is that easy. Almost everywhere else the mirrors were twice the price and required programming from the dealer for another 120.00. Not these mirrors. I called the number to order the mirrors and the young lady that answered could not have been more helpful in helping me complete my order. The mirrors arrived fast and in perfect condition. I would recommend this company and recommend these mirrors.

Only took me about an hour to install both and, thanks to the video, the process was really easy. I did install the support brackets, which did add some to install time. They'll take a little getting used to because they are noticeably bigger than the factor ones, but that's a good thing. Yes, the controls are funky when flipped up for towing but it's not too hard to figure them out. They do not auto-tint at night, which is a feature I going to miss but overall, these are great mirrors.

Love these mirrors, they were a perfect fit and work excellent only problem is (which is my mistake) my truck has the memory feature and when I bought these mirrors all I was concerned about was power folding, heated and temp sensor. So when I flip the mirrors up when hauling, to move the glass the controls are different.

I purchased these to replace the clip on towing mirrors I've been using. Those were a pain. These appear to be very well made, sold as a rock and I don't think you could tell the difference between these and OEM. The only Drawback is that the black connector does not have the same profile as the OEM connector. It will require trimming off one of the ridges to allow it to fit the plug block. Nothing that a quick slice with a utility knife won't take care of. I did not install the reinforcement bracket that would normally be installed with OEM yet. I will add it later when I find a cheper place to buy the Rivnuts than the dealer.

Bought the tow mirror power fold, manual flip up. The whole experience was good. I ordered them and they were delivered on time. I got the box and opened up looking at the quality of mirror they looked just like the Mopar and same quality as Mopar. Installation was easy after watching the video. Only thing that I had to do was use the stock clip for the wire harness. I did add the tow mirror reinforcement brackets ( got threw the dealership). After having them on all the lights worked properly, I felt like the folding motor was stronger and worked at the same time compared to the stock ones. When driving the mirrors didn't rattle or shake even when I flipped up for towing style. The only negative thing was one each mirror there was a scratch maybe half and inch long, which I don't know how it got it since it was packaged very well. On the OEM stock mirrors that come on a Ram, if you need to adjust the mirrors, the typical way is to use the button on the interior door where "up is up" "down in down" "right is right" and "left is left". All good. Then when you flip them in the up, or into the towing position, it automatically changes so when you again go to adjust your mirrors "up is up" "down in down" "right is right" and "left is left" But with these mirrors, when you flip them up for towing, and then use the automatic adjust button in on your door, the mirrors do not automatically change. So if I need to adjust them up or down, they go left or right, It's all backwards. Other than that, good mirrors.

The passenger mirror worked great 1st time. The drivers mirror would not power fold more than an inch and wouldnt go back all the way to normal. 1A Auto sent a new set of mirrors to replace the faulty drivers mirror. After changing out the drivers mirror, the engine light came on and the ambient air temperature sensor/reading was -40F. My a/c wouldnt work correctly, either. After some research around the engine code, it appeared to be the temp sensor on the mirror. I replaced the sensor on the 2nd mirror with the sensor from the 1st mirror (the one that wouldnt fold) and everything seems fine now. It is making me question the overall quality of the parts - but for now everything seems to be working. Im glad I ended up with 2 mirrors to have one completely working drivers side mirror. They do work great for towing the camping trailer.

These came nicely packaged and were exactly what I was hoping for. They went on with absolute ease. No trimming or figment issues! The only thing I suggest is calling your local ram dealer and ordering in the tow mirror support bracket that all the trucks that came factory with tow mirrors would have. Otherwise they are great. No big vibrations, power fold works as it should. Only odd thing is when flipped up the controls are flipped so itll take some getting use to!

Replaced my stock mirrors on my 2013 Ram 1500. Installed easily and rock solid construction. No vibrations even on rough roads. Does everything to old mirrors did except auto dimming. Power fold, defrost, puddle light, turn indicators, power adjust. Everything works correctly and I couldn't be happier.

I believe I have a defective passenger side mirror. The large mirror on the passenger side has a magnification of at least 4x's that of the driver's side. It makes it impossible to use and a safety hazard!!!! I believe I have a defect, as my friend with stock tow mirrors does not have this extreme magnification (maybe 2x's that of the driver's side). For example, if there was a vehicle in the immediate lane to right of me(passenger side) and approximately 1-2 car lengths behind me, all I could see in my mirror is approximately 18" of that object/vehicle (IE: a single headlight, corner of bumper etc). I do not have even the slightest field of view to determine actual distance or safety clearance. Keep in mind in order to see this object/vehicle in that location(to the right of me and 1-2 car lengths behind). I have to position my mirror in a way that if there is no object/vehicle there, it's pointing at the road/ground. The passenger side mirror shouldn't have such a magnification th

These mirrors were just what I needed! They are stable while driving and give me the perfect range of view behind my 8.5'X20' enclosed car trailer that my factory mirrors didn't. When I don't have the trailer hooked up, the mirrors fold down to almost factory size!

These mirrors were recommended by my mechanic for my Ram 2500 so I could better see to two but without having to give up the electronic folding and adjusting functions and the heated mirror function. They work great! Folded down they are like regular truck mirrors, and folded up they give great views for towing.

These mirrors are very clear and operate perfectly. Installation was super simple and took less than an hour for both sides. My only complaint is that the main lenses are not convex, which makes the viewing area smaller. The blind spots are bigger now, even with the secondary mirrors. When in tow mode (mirrors upright) the secondary mirrors do not adjust far enough, which leaves the truck taking up half the view. Mirrors that change orientation night not be able to be convex due to the causing of fish-eye effect, so this is probably a Ram issue. Sliding to extend instead of flipping on end could be the solution.

I didnt have tow mirrors on my truck and when I towed my travel trailer I couldnt really see boxy to the trailer. These mirrors 110% fixed this. I could see people riding my bumper behind my trailer no problem. Install was a breeze. The replacement clips for the harness were sub par but thats not a huge issue. I have no doubt these mirrors are very close to OEM spec and I am very happy with my purchase.

Great upgrade The only draw back is the buttons on the door to adjust the mirror don't match the direction yo you want then to go . I can live with that little anounce because the price for both is less than one factory mirror.

Received mirror yesterday installed this morning and took them back off put back on old mirrors-Installed vehicle 2014 Ram 1500. Mirrors seem to be well made and sturdy but as soon as installed check engine light came on. Once the old mirrors went back on everything was back to normal. Will probably return the mirrors.

Bought these about a year and a half ago for towing my 5th wheel camper. They are fully functional except for dimming mode which is not offered. After 6 months of use the auto fold feature only moved the mirror half way and after repeated pushing of the button it would finally go out to be usable. Now the power folding motors have failed in both mirrors and one is taped in the open position. Now I am going to buy 2 more because I need them.

The glass quality is slightly poorer than OEM (minor distortions) but the power fold, and lighting all works great. I have noticed a whistle when the mirrors are folded down which is annoying but overall these are good functional replacements.

Bought these in February of 2020, they've stopped working. Passenger side mirror no longer locks and I have to tape it so the arm doesn't flap in the wind. Driver side no longer opens or closes, I can hear the motor running but the mirror never moves.

If you don't count on the power fold and extend feature these mirrors are great after a few months, both sides would often get stuck half way though folding or extending so you would have to try a few times or open your window and help them. (not convenient when entering a car wash). Now drivers side will never make it through full travel. And yes, I followed the instructions that say how to cycle them when you first install the mirrors. You get what you pay for.

So far I'm quite satisfied.

Installation was easy following the video turorial provided on the web site. The price was great, the set was less than one mirror at a junk yard. With the lifetime warrantee you really can't go wrong. I did find that the passenger side mirror adjust was sluggish as compared to the driver's side mirror and the original set. It did adjust but was slow. The turn signal light did not seem as bright as the original set. I have only had them installed for about a month and so far, no issues.

My 2500 Ram came with 'sport' mirrors. Useless. Swapped them out for these tow mirrors and I love them. The auto fold is nice (won't fit in my parking bay otherwise lol) and they present an excellent field of view. After about 4 years, my passenger side wasn't folding all the way out or in. When I contacted 1A Auto for assistance/support, I was told that b/c of the lifetime warranty they would send me all new units for both sides. Great support, and the install went even faster the second time. Highly recommend these for improved view under normal driving and towing large trailers.

I had a shop install them but they were plug and play. If you don't have tow mirrors already, you will need to have the software set to tow mirrors to control them properly when they are raised. I also suggest that you buy the mopar support brackets. My truck is a 2017 Ram 1500 that did not come with tow mirrors.
