What's up, guys? I'm Andy from 1A Auto. In this video, I'm going to show you how to replace these chrome grilles on this 2001 BMW 325xi. If you want these parts or other parts for your vehicle, click the link in the description and head over to 1AAuto.com.
Okay. To take the grille out, you're going to take a small screwdriver. There's these clips that are all around the grille. Now, this one is broken. There's only half of one on here. Push that and then there should be one here and one here. There's one right here. There should be some on the back too. Look. For the most part, this vehicle, they're all broken. So just slide the grille out just like that. There's the grille. The other one is the same.
Here's the old grilles. Here's the new grilles from 1AAuto.com. They are completely chrome. They have the same shape. If you look at the backside, the mounting tabs are in the same locations, in the same shape on the backsides. Get yours at 1AAuto.com and you can do it yourself.
All right. Just make sure you clean this area. It looks pretty good. We're going to line this up. This is going to go like this. Where this hood release is, right there, that's going to go through the second one. Line that up. Get it lined up. Just push it straight back. It locks in place nice. We'll do the same with the other one.
