Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the washer pump on this 2005 Volkswagen Jetta. The items you'll need for this is a flat blade screwdriver and a T25 Torx Driver.
Now, in the wheel well, and below the front of the car, there's a series of T25 screws that you need to remove. Jack and jack stands aren't required for this procedure, but it definitely makes the procedure a lot easier if you do use them. We'll fast-forward as Mike removes those T25 screws. Pull this panel down and out, and then you reach up underneath the washer bottle. Just twist this clip and pull that hose free, and you'll feel it unlock.
Then you want to just pull the washer pump out. Pull it forward and lift it up and out. Then, you want to angle it in a way that you can get a flat blade screwdriver into that slot on the harness and disconnect it.
Then take your new washer pump, reconnect the hose, and lock the hose back in place. Then reconnect your harness, and then lower the washer pump back into the washer bottle.
Then take that panel, line it up, and feed it back into place. Then replace and tighten up those T25 screws.
Thanks for tuning in. We hope this video helped you out. Next time you need parts for your car, please visit 1AAuto.com. Also check out our other helpful how-to and diagnosis videos.

The price was very good, although the rep didn't think it would fit my car, i did a lot of research on model# before i ordered. Just a little info, this pump will work on the 2003 Audi A4 1.8T , even though the A1 Auto info says different. I compared it to the factory part, it's identical to the original part before i installed it which is a very easy installation.Shipping was very good also.
