Unfortunately, the product appears to be defective. Before installing the new coolant level sensor, my low coolant light stayed on all the time. Now, after replacing the old sensor with the new coolant level sensor, my low coolant light comes on and off intermittently. The low coolant light will be off for a minute or so, then come back on for a minute or so. This happens throughout the time that I am driving. This happens even with a completely full radiator that has all new coolant.

Just installed today (6/23/22), light on dash is out now. Not leaking, and the video on your website for installation was extremely helpful. Have never gone wrong with your helpful videos. Parts always arrive earlier then expected, always fit perfect for the vehicle I ordered for. Thanks!!!

The coolant level sensor should be at the bottom of the coolant reservoir. Or is for most applications. Thank you and have a great day!

On my 1998 Olds Intrigue with the 3800 V6 it is on the back of the right side of the radiator. Find the radiator cap and go straight down the back about 6-8 inches. I had to remove the battery to gain enough room to work when replacing the sensor.

2000 Buick Regal LS has no electrical connection to Coolant Reservoir. Low Coolant Level Sensor is in Radiator (Right / Passenger Side) about three inches below the coolant cap on the back side of the radiator. It is a 1.5" X 1.5" inch box with an electrical plug going into the bottom of it.

Sounds like you still have air in your system. Make sure all the air is burped out by removing the air relief valve on the passenger side and put an empty water bottle over the valve. Pour antifreeze in the empty bottle making it the highest point in the engine compartment. Burp the upper radiator hose by squeezing it until no bubbles burp into the water bottle. Now the entire system is free of air. Worked on my 2000 Chevy Venture
