In this video, we take you through replacing a headlight clip on this Olds Intrigue, it's very easy, but this could be a cause of if you have a light that kind of shakes at night, you notice the beam of the headlight vibrating up and down. We're doing this on an old Intrigue. These clips fit a lot of different GM vehicles.
If you notice the beam of your headlight shaking around, okay, more than it should, what we want to do is come in here, a lot of them are held in by these clips, pull the clip up and out, check the condition, make sure it's not broken, and you'll see on this light actually, somebody might have broken one or one got lost, so they decided to hold it in with some duct tape. The duct tape is not going to do that good of a job. 1A Auto, we sell the clips.
Push on your light, a whole bunch of residue here, looks like somebody actually used a wire tie as well. I'll carefully use a razor knife and cut the wire tie off. One here. And I can put my light in properly. Okay, these clips go down, and you can see there's a larger square where the light goes in. Push in the light, push the clip down, put our other one in, now it's held in securely.

Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the headlight retaining clips on this 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo.
Your headlights are held in by these retaining clips. There's one here, and then there's a clip here that you pull out. You can see the other one's right in here. Generally, if you pull one out and it gets broken or something like that, or if you accidentally lose it, at 1A Auto, we sell a pack.
There are two different styles in the pack. These fit some GM and Ford, actually, and, obviously, this is the correct replacement. You just make sure your headlight is pushed in. There's a bigger square part here that goes around first, and then push down and clip in.
