Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
Here we have the wiper arm on our 2008 Dodge Ram 1500. The reason we wanted to show you this is because these are actually a little bit different than the majority of wiper arms out there today. It's a lot simpler, I believe, than the standard for wiper arms, but just to give you an idea…
You lift the arm up. You see this small tab on the windshield side pulls out, and the wiper arm simply slides off the spline. Normally, you have to lift a cover, remove a knot, and work this arm off the splines to remove it. You have to line them back up.
This is actually keyed so when we reinstall it, it always goes back to the same place. It's very convenient, very simple, but it's a little bit different than the industry standard. We figured we'd take a moment to show you how it's done.
Thanks for tuning in. We hope this video helped you out. Next time you need parts for your car, please visit 1AAuto.com. Also check out our other helpful how-to and diagnosis videos.
