Brought to you buy 1AAuto.com. Your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the internet. Hi. I'm Mike Green. I'm one of the owners at 1A Auto. I want to help you save time and money repairing and maintaining your vehicle. I'm going to use my 20 plus years experience restoring and repairing cars and trucks like this to show you the correct ways to install parts from 1AAuto.com. The right parts installed correctly. That's going to save you time and money. Thank you and enjoy the video.
In this video we'll be showing you how to access and replace the fog lights and fog light bulbs on this 2005 Sport Trac same as any 01 to 05 Sport Trac. Only tools you'll need are a Phillips screwdriver and an 8mm wrench or socket and ratchet. To access the fog light on either side you'll want to remove three screws. One, two, three, these are all three Philips screws. Once you have those screws out, you can move the panel out of the way enough to work in behind there. But for just shooting the video, I'm actually going to pull this down, and I'm going to pull these plugs out, and take the panel completely off, so you can see in there really well while I'm shooting.
Now with that out of the way, you can see that it's pretty clear up here. Even with that panel in the way you can reach your hand up in here. We're going to change the bulb, and you just need to twist that bulb a little bit, pull it down. If your fog lights been hit by a rock or something, or you have a little altercation, there are three bolts, one, two, three. These are either T20 Torx, or 7mm. I'm using a 7mm socket. Once you remove those bolts, your fog light comes right out. This ones in good shape, but the fog lights that 1A Auto sells, do bolt right in just like the originals. Obviously, to put it back in is just reverse of the procedure. Plug your fog light in.
