How do I remove the old one?

There is a single bolt. Loosen it. And you may need to pry it up from under the spline area with a blade screw driver. Use duct tape over the screw driver tip and go slow. Use a towel over the paint so you don't scratch the vehicle. It should slid right off. Clean the spline with wd40 before replacing and the new one will slip right on. Replace the bolt. This is 2 minute job

remove center nut. Gently pry upwards (not using the glass as base) while gently wiggling the arm. Should slide off the splined shaft
