Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
If the lift support struts on your vehicle have gone bad, you might be familiar with using a mop or other utensil to hold up your vehicle. Fixing it is pretty easy, with new lift support struts from 1A Auto.
Probably have a helper or somebody help you out by lifting up the tailgate. The mop just fell off. Then there's just a clip. You get a small screwdriver. Remove the clip there. Remove the clip up here. You don't have to remove all the way, just pull them out. If it comes out, it's okay. Take off the strut. Both ends come off.
Lift up your tailgate. That's pretty easy. Just snap the top on. You might have to lift up a little further than usual. Snap the bottom in place. Then, you're all set.
