This part came with the rain gutter which made it not get water in the lines and mess up the hubs. Installed in a few minutes and have had it in truck for two years and still no problem at all with four wheel drive engaging and disengaging

OFacing the hood of the truck, it should be in the most upper left hand corner. A tad above the battery.

2010 F-150 Disengage solenoid is located on drivers side wheel well. Engage solenoid is located on drivers side firewall.

Looking at the engine bay, it is in the top right corner behind the battery against the firewall.

Should be passenger side in the engine bay up against the firewall. Mine is a silver cylinder. Your stock solenoid may look different from the improved design you see here

We found ours on the fire wall. One on each side. I researched inline thru the Ford web site schematics.

Mine on my F150 is located on the top of the firewall drivers side, should be able to see it pretty easy!
