do these work with electric locks?

My 2001 ford ranger xlt has power locks,and these new keys and locks work fine my truck

I need both door locks and the tailgate lock. Does it come in a set of three?

Unfortunately this comes as a pair for the front doors. It does not have one for the tailgate lock.

Will this part work with a 2005 Ford Ranger?

it worked on a 2003 ranger. just don't drop it inside the door panel--would be a .....to get out.

will it fit a 2010 ranger passenger door./?

Yes it fit perfectly. takes only a few minutes just dont drop the rod down the door. I did on one door but fished it out with a piece of bailing wire. Not a big deal

Are these color coded for right & left doors?

These will not be color coded for each side but they should come with labels to indicate which side fits for each.

Will these fit a 1994 f150?

Do these door lock cylinders work as follows; unlock the door, take the key out, lock the door take out the key? May sound strange,the ones I installed don't work that way. 1996 Ford Ranger XL basic 2 door short bed. John

Before install take an Ighition key and your 2 new door lock cylinders, to a local Lock Smith and have them rekeyed to match.

This pair of door locks fit my 1998 Ford Ranger, although a gasket of some type (not included) is needed to fill the slight gap between the lock and body. Easy to install, no tools needed except for a screwdriver or strong fingers to pry the lock holder from the inside of the door.

I ordered this door lock cylinders for my ranger pick up truck which was broken into sometime ago. I received it in a couple of days and replaced the damaged lock on the driver side door only for now. The only problem I had was tthe retaining clips opening was now too big for this replacement lock. I had to McGiver it to hold the lock firmly in place. It would help tremendously if the retaining matching clips came with the set even if the cost would then be a little higher. This would save a lot of time in replacing them. Then I could have replaced both locks with no problems. Other then that, I am happy that I can lock the driver door again. Thank you. E.

These were a great replacement and would have been 5 stars if they had come with the gasket as well. The old gaskets deteriorate and the new locks are a loose fit without them. I had to purchase new gaskets seperately from another vendor.

I ordered the locks for my 01 Ford Ranger XLT and my only issue was that they do not come with new gaskets and my old ones were deteriorated. The only other strange issue I seem to encounter is that when I unlock the door (which thank goodness it unlocks now which is why I needed to replace the old ones) the little knob inside will drop back into the lock position when I remove the key. Of course I get around it by making sure I open the door before removing the key, but a good fix for that would be great to know. I had no install problems after watching your video.

Doesn't work that well compared to the OEM locks in a Ford Ranger. There's a lot of wiggle room in the positioning slots that keep the cylinder in place, and that makes the whole thing rotate a few degrees each time you turn the key. Still usable, but barely. I'm glad I only needed to replace the passenger side.
