Does it come with new U-joints?

Yes, the frist of these drive shafts I bought was complete and bolted right in. The CV joint at the rear wore out and i got a new shaft assembly on on warranty. The front ujoint on the new shaft was too wide to fit in the yoke on my ranger. Not sure what Im going to do with it, yet.

I have a 97 Mercury Mountaineer with the V8 does anybody know whether this drive shaft for the V6 we'll fit on it?

Replaced mine after struggling to find a stubborn front end vibration in my 2004 sport trac with 180,000 miles. It did the trick.

Front Drive Shaft

After noticing the rubber fitting at the front of the shaft had ruptured and grease was slung everywhere, I contacted my go to mechanic and he advised this was an easy repair. He found a driveshaft for over 2.5x the cost of I googled and found 1A Auto. I contacted 1A Auto had and the agent said one was in stock. It arrived one earlier than scheduled. 1A Auto is the best seller of parts there is. Good pricing, professional service and the videos are absolutely very point on describing how to fix the issue. Do yourself a favor and go directly to 1A Auto for any vehicle need.
