Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we show you how to replace a power window switch on one of the rear doors on this 2002 Ford Escape, pretty much the same as any 2001 to 2004 Escape, as well as the Mercury Mariner. The only tools you'll need are a small flat blade screwdriver and a Phillips screwdriver.
There's a Phillips screw down in the door pull here. Then use a small flat blade screwdriver and pry out this little trap door. Then another Phillips screw in there. I just hit fast-forward here as we use a Philips screwdriver to remove those two screws. Okay, we take that out, we can bring this out. Pull and confirm. Take that off like that. Right up here, work your fingers underneath. Pull out on this panel. Now you can just kind of reach in behind and pull firmly out on the door panel. It comes out. Okay, then in behind there's a small tab, you reach underneath and disconnect your window harness.
Once you have your door panel off, take the small screwdriver, and there's two tabs holding the switch in. I generally go back in to the back side first. Unlock that one and come here to the front. Now, I'm pulling it out on the switch. Pry the tab here. Switch comes right out.
The new switch from 1A Auto only goes in one way. You'll see that there's a slot here with two narrow tabs and a slot here with two tabs for the part. Ones that are further apart go up towards the top of the door panel and it slides right in.
To reinstall the door panel, put it close, reconnect your window switch. Then, you just kind of lift the clips into where they start in on both sides. Push the top right in. Fast-forward from here on out. Basically, just set all those clips. Be careful, look back in. Make sure you get the clips going into their holes before you use the back of your hand to just kind of punch them in. Then, make sure you put the bezel back on the door handle. Put the two screws back in. Once you put those screws back in then you just put that rear bezel back on and you're all set.

Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace a rear power window switch on this 2003 Mercury Mountaineer. We show you on the driver side, but the passenger side is the same procedure. The items that you'll need for this include a new power window switch from 1AAuto.com and a flat blade screwdriver.
Now pry out on this bottom panel. Then just pull out to release the clips and slide it off the door handle. Pull this forward and then up on the front and slide out the back. Then just push the tab on this harness and disconnect it. Pry out on the side while applying pressure from the same side, and then do it again from the other side while lightly pulling up on the switch. Then pull free.
Here's our new one and our old one, and you can see what happens to these things a lot. This one's not too bad, but it's got spillage from various fluids. The new one is going to go right in.
To go in, there's a little line up tab right here that goes into this slot.
Reconnect your harness, then feed in the back tab first, and then push the front down and into place. If you have some difficulties with it, just make sure your harness is out of the way. Then take the back panel, slide it over the door handle, and feed those back tabs in place and push in the front clips.

The price and service were excellent. It replaced my old switch, fixed the problem(now it works perfectly). This was a perfect fit and everything was perfect. The arrows light up brighter green than the other door switches.
Just as described
