The cap seems to have stopped the problem of an E-Vap leak, however the leach is so stiff it won't stay in place. I'm hoping it will work itself in a more flexible holder.

GM's will throw an error code if the cap don't seal properly so replacement is a must after years of use.

Fits my 2006 Chevy Silverado Classic 1500 perfectly. The only issue is that tether is not long enough to have it hang on the fuel door hook causing it to dangle against the side of the bed

Went through 3 gas caps before this one. It is a bit more money than the others but well worth it. Finally found the perfect fit for my car. Very satisfied.

My engine light want cut off so I was told I need a gas cap. I have purchased about 5 the last one was this one. It stated original cap for 2007 impala.it cut the light off for a few hours and it right back on. So right at this time I really don't have anything good to say.

Great quality gas cap I replaced due to an engine light code stating the seal inside my old one was bad and this took care of it! 1a is the best site for OEM quality or better parts without the cost!

I was worried. But replacement of the universal-style gas cap with an OEM gas cap from 1A Auto made the check engine light go away. This is on my new (to me) 2006 Tahoe. All the parts I've got from 1A have been great, by the way. Videos too. Thanks!

Bought this because it was oem. Previous gas cap would set off check engine light. New gas cap didn't make a difference.

Was getting a fuel system pressure error code and constant Check Engine light on 14 year old car. Decided to try replacing the easiest thing, the gas cap and no more Check Engine light or error. Sometimes the simplest solution is the best and getting any parts from 1A Auto is quick and easy. It is the only place I will get parts from now on!

I was told to check wether my fuel filler tube has a metal flap or plastic flap to get the correct replacement gas cap. My filler tube has a metal flap. Does that matter?
