Customer Q&A
Is this piece inside the transmission?

It is. When you drop the pan from the bottom of transmission(~12 bolts) you have to remove the valve body (~another 8 bolts). This is sandwiched between the peice you just removed and the rest of the transmission. It snaps into place and all assembles back. The hardest part is accessing the transmission, mine was a jeep wk so I didn't even need to raise vehicle. Plenty of YouTube to help you through.

To be honest, I took it to a garage and they installed it. It was a pretty big job to my knowledge.

Yes... sort of. It's right above the transmission fluid pan. Replacing it is a fairly easy job to do at home as long as you have a torque wrench. Can be messy if you've never replaced transmission fluid before.

Yes it is you have to drop the valuebody to get to first disconnect the wire harness on the passenger side of the transmission turn the connector counter clock way to disconnect harness from connector use a1/4"drive drive 8know socket to pull the connector housing out before you drop the transmission pan and value body

The plate is inside the transmission, you have to drop the pan to get to it. The plug is on the outside of the transmission.

Yes it is a piece of a 722.6 transmission. It is the pass through electrical connector, that have a tendency to leak, and the upper control valve body, which contains the input speed sensors.

After I installed seal on my 2012 Nissan Altima still leaks I dont think I damage the seal because I used a tool to install it, oil coming out from around the shaft.

What is the extra 0 ring for??? Where does it go??

Its the o-ring seal for that connector. There is trans fluid on the other side of the connector so the o-ring keeps the fluid sealed inside the transmission pan.

If its the o ring I think youre talking about it goes around the plug adapter. That hooks into the conductor plate from the outside.

I have a 2008 srt8 jeep. I'm in need of this part, conductor plate, but debating if I should buy oem or A1 part. Im always nervous with aftermarket parts especially electrical. Do you guys have great success with these conductor plates?
