Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and the next time you need a part for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the blower motor on this 2006 Jeep Liberty. It's the same part and process on these Libertys from 2002 to 2007.The only items you'll need include a new blower motor from 1AAuto.com and a Phillips screwdriver.
Under your glove box, there should be a panel here held in by two Phillips screws. You remove those screws and pull the panel forward out of that hole there. On the blower motor, push the red clip on the harness. Push the tab and pull it free. To release this, there's a tab on the blower motor right here. All you have to do is pull that down and then twist the blower motor counterclockwise and it pulls out.
On the right is the old blower motor; on the left is the new one from 1A Auto. They're identical; they'll mount the same and it'll work good as new. Take your new blower motor, line up that tab with this right here, and you want to slide it into that slot. Just feed it into place, line up the tab, and twist it clockwise to lock it. Reconnect your harness and push in that red clip to lock it. Just replace that panel and you're all set.

First blower motor sent to me had been repacked it looks like and plastic cage was cracked. I called and told your service department they quickly sent out a replacement and were very pleasant to deal with. The reason I say the first one was repacked is when I received the replacement the plastic cage had cardboard surround that kept the blower from moving around in the box when shipped so the plastic wheel wouldn't be damaged. Again Great Customer Service

Easy to order. Part arrived quickly. It didn't quite fit like a hand in a glove. However, with a little effort, it fit and it works perfectly. Thank you 1A Auto.
Only 5 Star Review From Me

I bought a blower motor from 1Aauto and it had a minor defect so I told them about it but it still worked and would let them know if I had any trouble with it. However, without me even asking, they sent me another one without any defect and it works perfectly. They are the best! Only 5 Star review from me.

Original blower motor developed an annoying chirping noise and this solved the problem. The "How To" videos make this a DIY project anybody can do.

Like always for me I checked OEM first and it was outrageously priced, so I decided to give this a try. I got to one auto because I have watched so many of their video series on the jeep liberty. The fit was perfect and I figured, even if it didn't last as long as OEM it is a low risk part to replace very easily. Plus, it could last as long as OEM but I can't know that right now only time will tell
Easy Replacement for 2007 Jeep Liberty

This was a very easy part to replace in my 2007 Jeep Liberty. Make sure you connect the motor before inserting it, since you won't have access afterward. Not all replacement parts are like that, so this will save you some trouble.
Customer Q&A
what connector do you need for blower?September 19, 2018

I have a 2002 Liberty and I didn't need any additional conectors. You just plug the one on the blow into the one connected to the car.

The connector on the blower motor is already attached to this unit and would plug into the existing wiring harness on the vehicle. We do not sell or have details regarding just the connector alone. Thank you and have a great day!
