Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we'll show you how to replace a cabin air filter or the dust and pollen air filter in this 2006 Nissan Sentra. The only tool you'll need is a Phillips screwdriver.
We're inside. What you want to do is open up your glove compartment. Basically what I'm doing is pushing to the side firmly, and then you can pull your whole glove box right down. I'm going to fast forward it here.
You want to remove the four screws that are at the top of the glove box. Then, right in here you just kind of go underneath these little tabs. Pull that door off. Then take your cabin filter. It's always fun to see pine needles on top. Reach in, grab it as best you can. Pull out your dirty, old one.
Here's a nice new one from 1AAuto. Put it in. It has little airflow arrows. In this vehicle they should be pointing down. It goes right in place. Then put this right up in and lock it in place.
Put the glove box back in. You want to put the bottom in first. Snap that up in. We'll speed it up here a little bit as we put those two screws in. This latch slides into place. Then once that's in place put in the two screws and make sure all four are tight. Put your glove box back in. Lock it in. Push it to the side. It's all set.
