Thank you for providing me with a part that fits and was easy to install! One idea that would ve cool would be torque specs or diagram provided that sometimes rock auto or partsgeek provides! Thank you again!!

Stopped that annoying leak on the top of my engine. Would recommend.
You see, my old one was leaking, and this one is not. Yay!
Things to be aware of:
The hex head on this one is larger than the OEM sensor. I'm not actually sure of the specific size because I didn't have a matching socket and I didn't bother measuring it with calipers because that wasn't going to help me get it done in the moment. I can tell you it's slightly larger than the 25mm socket which was the closest thing I had on hand, so maaaaybe 26mm? This isn't really a thing that's WRONG with the sensor so I'm not taking off stars for it, but it can be annoying if you weren't planning on it.
No video or other resource I looked at online mentioned that this sensor doesn't go directly into the engine. There's actually a... thing it goes into, like a bolt with a tapped hole through the middle. Almost like an adapter that goes into a big hole, and gives you a small hole for this thing to thread into. Why didn't Subaru just make a small hole to begin with? I have no idea. I don't even know
I'll be back
