Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and, please, next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the four-wheel drive speed sensor on this 2002 Chevy Suburban. It's the same part and similar process on these Suburbans from 2000 - 2010. The items you'll need for this is a new four-wheel drive speed sensor from 1AAuto.com, and a 19mm wrench. You may want to use jack and jack stands for some extra room, but they're not required.
Your four-wheel drive speed sensor is located right here. You'll want to just lift up on this tab and pull the harness free. Then, using an 19mm wrench just twist the sensor out. We'll fast-forward as Mike does this. Pull out this O-ring.
On the left is the old speed sensor, on the right is the new one from 1A Auto. You can see they're identical and they'll fit exactly the same. Push your new speed sensor down into place and twist it in. We'll fast forward as Mike does this and then tightens it up with the 19 mm wrench. Reconnect the harness, and you're all set.
We hope this video helps you out. Brought to you by www.1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the Internet. Please feel free to call us toll-free, 888-844-3393. We're the company that's here for you on the Internet and in person.

The service I received was excellent, or even better. Fast service, part arrived sooner than I expected. And my truck's ABS system is now in full service. Thanks for great service, and customer follow up.

Easy to remove and replace. This fixed my random SERVICE 4x4 light that would occasionally come on even though my 4x4 was working normal.

The Dorman sensor took care of the shifting problem on my 2004 Chevy Silverado. Also the A-1 instructional video on the sensor was very useful.
