1. Removing the Rear Transmission Mount
Raise and secure the vehicle
Remove the two 16mm bolts from the transmission mount bracket
Remove the two 13mm bolts from the transmission mount
Pull the transmission mount out
2. Installing the New Rear Transmission Mount
Push the new transmission mount into place
Insert the two 13mm bolts into the transmission mount
Insert the two 16mm bolts into the transmission mount bracket
Lower the vehicle to the ground

In this video we're going to show you how to replace the rear transmission mount on this 2004 Volkswagen Jetta. It is a manual transmission with the 1.8 turbo engine. The tools you'll need for this is a 13mm and 16mm socket and ratchet, and jack and jack stands. Your rear transmission mount is located right here. To remove it you want to remove these two 16mm and these two 13mm bolts. We'll just fast forward as Don removes both of those. Once those are removed, the transmission mount will just pull free.
Take your new transmission mount, push it into place, and replace those two 13mm bolts. We'll just fast forward as Don replaces the two 16mm bolts and then tightens all four of them up. Once they're all nice and tight you're all set.

In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the torque strut mount on this 2001 Volkswagen Beetle. It's the same part and similar process on these Beetles for '98 to 2005. The items you'll need for this is a new torque strut mount from 1aauto.com, a 13mm and 16mm socket and ratchet, jack and jack stands, and a pry bar.
Your torque strut mount is located right here, and it's held in with two 13mm bolts. Go ahead and remove those. Now remove these two 16mm bolts, and the torque strut mount will pull out.
Up top is the old torque strut mount; below it is the new one from 1A Auto. You can see they're identical and they'll fit exactly the same.
Put your new torque strut mount up into place, and replace those two 13mm bolts and tighten them up. Now using a pry bar, pry the engine forward, and then replace those two 16mm bolts. Now you're all set.

Fits and Solved Acceleration Shaking Problem

This item is easy to remove and install along with the very helpful video that was posted. I decided to choose 1A Auto because of these videos that clearly show how to replace the parts.
Replacing the rear engine mount solved them problem that my car/steering wheel would slightly vibrate when accelerating at highway speeds.
