Hi, I'm Mike from 1AAuto. We've been selling auto parts for over 30 years.
Hi guys, it's Sue from 1A Auto. Today we're working on this 2012 Chevy Equinox. We have multiple listings for parts of this vehicle. Why don't you go to the web page and check what we have for your car at 1AAuto.com?
So now we're gonna remove the wiper blade in the rear. And I'll show you how that's done. It's not an easy task but it can be done. This is a plastic cover over the steel arm with the wiper blade is mounted underneath here. There's two tabs on top and bottom. You just give it a little spread and lift up. There's another tab here midway that loops under, so we're gonna slide it forward and lift up on it. And that's the tab. And there's the two ears in the back.
Now to remove the wiper blade itself from the actual arm, there's a tab on the top of this blade in here. So I use a body trim tool and I like to push down on it. When I push down, I give it a push back on the clicks. Rest that on the glass. Don't let it slap. And then here you have your rear wiper blade.
To reinstall the rear wiper blade, I'm going to fish it back through up on the front. Push that clip down. It'll find itself right in that loop and I pull it till it locks. Sometimes you'll hear it click, just like that. Now that's locked in there.
Now we're gonna replace the cover. I have to guide that in first. So I put the nose in first, till it finds the spot. Slide it back. Done.
